Q: What does it cost to become a member?A: Membership in the SOU Retirees Association is currently free of charge. At this stage in our organizational development we are working with the university to devise projects of mutual benefit. For example, the new Retirees Scholarship Fund is an initiative that is designed to benefit students directly and the university indirectly. The university has subsidized the fall and winter retirees luncheons and the presidents reception each spring. Retirees are encouraged to contribute to the scholarship fund in lieu of a fee for these events.
